Token2049 Singapore will play host to a “world’s first” immersive theater experience from HashKey Capital, Aethir and CARV.
Mystery thriller “Decode: Legacy” promises to explore the past decade and a half of crypto history through “iconic Web3 characters, solving puzzles and uncovering secrets,” in the setting of Singapore’s iconic Raffles Hotel.
Designed for “both crypto enthusiasts and theater lovers,” the exclusive, invite-only event promises to combine “an unparalleled networking opportunity wrapped in an unforgettable theatrical experience,” according to a press release shared with Decrypt.
A teaser trailer for the event features the hotel along with a ticking countdown clock and imagery including Bitcoin, a figure sporting the Guy Fawkes mask from the film "V for Vendetta" adopted by the Anonymous movement, and a Ouija board.
Decode: Legacy will “bring to life a first of its kind immersive theatrical experience powered by decentralized technologies,” said Mark Rydon, co-founder and CSO of AI-focused GPU-as-a-Service technology firm Aethir, whose cloud compute technology will be showcased in the experience. He added that, “We are thrilled to take part in creative new ways to showcase how infrastructure like Aethir can be used IRL.”
Modular data layer CARV’s blockchain technology will also feature in “Decode: Legacy,” the firm’s COO Victor Yu said, with the experience’s blockchain-based challenges demonstrating real-world applications of its technology, including “empowering individuals to control, verify, and monetize their data.”
“We're not just showcasing innovation—we're redefining how data can be controlled, verified, and monetized in real-time,” Yu said, adding that “Decode: Legacy” is “a unique opportunity to bring these revolutionary concepts to life in an engaging and memorable way.”
Following its debut at Token2049 Singapore, HashKey Capital plans to take the “Decode: Legacy” show on the road to crypto events around the world.
