A federal court judge in New York today relented and agreed to release on $1 million bail Virgil Griffith, the Ethereum researcher who's accused of trying to help North Korean evade U.S. sanctions.
After he posts the bond, Griffith, who according to his attorney has been suspended from his work with the Ethereum Foundation, will be released into his parents' custody in Alabama.
